Jordyn Lei Robinson, 28, of Gaffney, South Carolina, passed away on April 14, 2026, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Born on July 8, 1997, in Gaston County, North Carolina, Jordyn lived a life marked by courage, resilience, and deep devotion to her loved ones, even while facing significant health challenges.
Throughout her illness, Jordyn displayed remarkable strength and unwavering determination. She remained a steady source of love and encouragement to her family, embodying resilience that inspired those around her. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she especially cherished her role as a mother. Jordyn embraced motherhood with profound love, patience, and dedication, always placing her children at the center of her heart.
Known for her kindness and selflessness, Jordyn consistently put others before herself. She had a gentle spirit and a natural ability to care deeply for those around her, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her compassion extended beyond people to animals, as she was a passionate animal lover with a special fascination for sharks. She eagerly looked forward to Shark Week each year and never missed an opportunity to enjoy it.
Jordyn also treasured time spent at the beach with her family, creating meaningful memories filled with laughter, peace, and togetherness. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, loving daughter, sister, fiancée, and loyal friend whose presence brought warmth and comfort to many.
She is survived by her fiancé, John-Paul Morris; children, Hadlee Robinson and Emerson Morris; parents, Danny and Kelly Yarbrough Robinson; siblings, Becca Woodward and Dannah Blackburn; her paternal nana, Clytie Smith; and extended family including nieces, nephews, and her aunt Jeanie Robinson.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, with visitation prior from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at Harris Funeral Home.
