Corvallis, Ore. — Oregon State Beavers baseball announced Tuesday, April 14, that freshman pitcher Tyler Bellerose was recently involved in an automobile accident and is currently in serious medical condition.

According to Hank Hager, Assistant Athletic Director for Integrated Communications, the situation directly impacted the team’s schedule. As a result, the game between Oregon State Beavers baseball and Oregon Ducks baseball, originally set for 6:00 p.m. on April 14 in Hillsboro, Oregon, was postponed.
Officials indicated that the decision to delay the matchup was made in light of the circumstances surrounding Bellerose’s condition. Both programs are currently working together to identify a suitable date to reschedule the game.
