We extend our deepest condolences on the passing of Larry Edward Kilburn, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. At the age of 73, Larry departed this life on April 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
A lifelong resident of Lawrence County, Tennessee, Larry was a man of quiet strength and dedication. He spent many years working in construction and farming, embodying a strong work ethic and an unwavering commitment to providing for his family. Beyond his work, Larry found joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing, hunting, sharing stories, and exploring yard sales and trade days. However, nothing brought him greater happiness than the time he spent with his beloved grandchildren, who were truly the center of his world.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Ferman Allen and Myrtle Edith Irelan Kilburn. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Linda Gail Kilburn, whose partnership with him stood as a testament to enduring love and devotion. He also leaves behind his three sons, James (Crystal), Chris (Olivia), and Jeremy (Carmen), along with his brother Michael (Melanie), sister Kathy (Donnie), nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and another on the way, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Larry’s life was one of integrity, kindness, and deep familial love. His presence will be greatly missed, but his memory will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his legacy bring comfort and peace in the days ahead.
