His untimely departure has left his family, friends, coworkers, and loved ones heartbroken as they mourn the loss of a young life filled with promise, passion, and love for those around him.
Ashton was known for his deep appreciation of the outdoors, where he found joy and peace in hunting and fishing. His connection to nature reflected his personality—grounded, patient, and sincere. Those who knew him best describe him as someone who valued family above all else and carried a genuine love for life’s simple and meaningful moments. His warmth and loyalty left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
Professionally, Ashton was employed by Corbitt Power & Light, where he was respected as a dedicated and hardworking individual. He was also a man of faith, living within the Baptist tradition, and his spiritual foundation provided strength and guidance throughout his life. His coworkers, friends, and lineman brothers remember him not only for his work ethic but for his willingness to support others and his dependable presence in every situation.
Ashton is survived by a loving and devoted family who meant everything to him. He leaves behind his mother, Christy Osborn; father, Greg Osborn; fiancée, Lilly Dodd; and his cherished brothers, Austin Newton, Adam Newton (Raegan), and Peyton Urban. He was a proud uncle to Mavvy and Mac Newton and a beloved grandson to Larry & Judy Matney, Tony & Renee Cottrell, and George & Janice Osborn. He is also remembered fondly by his great-grandmother, Dorothy Brock, as well as his aunt, Ashley Jackson (Jarrod), extended family, and many friends.
To all who loved Ashton, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences. The pain of losing someone so young is immeasurable, and the grief is shared by an entire community. May the love and memories he created bring comfort in the days ahead.
