With profound sorrow and heartfelt sympathy, we acknowledge the tragic passing of seven-year-old twins, Bryleigh Grace Pledger and Brynleigh Nell Pledger of Hartselle, Alabama, whose young lives were lost following a devastating vehicle accident in Moulton last Saturday. This heartbreaking tragedy also claimed the lives of their beloved mother, Ashley Dawn Hagood, and their half-brother, Bryant Christopher Ballew, leaving an entire family and community grieving an immeasurable loss.
Born on February 26, 2019, in Madison County, Bryleigh and Brynleigh shared a unique and beautiful bond that reflected joy, innocence, and deep sisterly love. Bryleigh passed on April 11, 2026, and Brynleigh followed just days later, reunited with her sister in eternal peace. Together, they are now also reunited with their loving mother and brother. Though their time on earth was brief, their lives were filled with light, laughter, and a love that will never be forgotten.
Funeral services to honor Bryleigh and Brynleigh will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at First Methodist Church in Hartselle, with Pastor Jon Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Hartselle Memory Gardens, with visitation taking place from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the church.
They are lovingly remembered by their father, Tyler Pledger (Miranda); their brothers Bentley Pledger, Layton Culbert, Bentley Culbert, and Mason Culbert; their sister Everleigh Culbert; their grandparents Jimmie Ballew (Robin), Skip Pledger (Menica), and Chris Hagood; and their great-grandmother, Janice Gohn.
